Job Responsibilities:

• Install and configure CCTV systems in strategic locations across the university and hospital premises. 
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of CCTV cameras and related equipment.
• Respond promptly to technical issues with the CCTV system and troubleshoot problems.
• Work closely with the IT department to address any network or connectivity issues affecting the CCTV system.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements in CCTV systems and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to implement system upgrades or replacements.
• Monitor live and recorded footage from CCTV cameras to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Keep an eye on high-risk areas and report any suspicious activities to the security team.
• Work closely with the security team to provide support during emergencies or security incidents.
• Coordinate with the security personnel to relay information obtained through CCTV footage.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents captured on CCTV, including time-stamps, descriptions, and relevant details.
• Submit incident reports to the Manager of Security for further analysis and action.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV equipment promptly.
• Coordinate with the technical support team to resolve complex problems that may affect surveillance capabilities.
• Evaluate and optimize camera placements for maximum coverage of key areas.
• Suggest improvements to the security infrastructure based on observations and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and guidelines when monitoring and recording activities through CCTV cameras.
• Respect and protect the privacy of individuals while carrying out surveillance responsibilities.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on all CCTV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep an inventory of spare parts and necessary tools for immediate repairs.
