Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Speech Therapist with 2 to 4 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology for our CDC project. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Cognitive-Communication Therapy and is proficient in using various Speech-Language Assessment Tools. This role involves providing advanced diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. The Senior Speech Therapist works independently to design and implement personalized treatment plans to improve clients' communication abilities and overall quality of life. Responsibilities- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments using specialized assessment tools to identify communication disorders and cognitive-communication impairments.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and patient-specific goals to address speech and language challenges effectively.
- Implement cognitive-communication therapy techniques to assist patients in improving memory, attention, problem-solving, and other cognitive functions related to communication.
- Deliver direct speech therapy sessions to patients with various communication disabilities, adapting techniques according to their progress and needs.
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports to monitor treatment effectiveness and comply with university guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and facilitate supportive environments for communication improvement.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about communication disorders, treatment expectations, and strategies to support daily communication activities.
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology to apply evidence-based practices and enhance therapy outcomes.
