Riphah International University is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Psychologist to join our CDC team. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor of Science in Applied or Clinical Psychology and demonstrates strong expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With preference given to candidates holding additional qualifications such as the Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology (ADCP), this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the mental health field while further developing clinical skills. The Junior Psychologist should be an empathetic individual with a genuine commitment to improving clients' mental health outcomes.
This role does not involve managing a team, allowing the Junior Psychologist to focus on providing high-quality psychological care and support to clients. Working closely with more experienced psychologists will enhance learning experiences, ensuring that the individual can grow professionally within the supportive environment of Riphah International University.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their psychological needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy principles tailored to each client's unique situation.
- Regularly monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their feelings and challenges.
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients and provide referrals as needed.
- Stay current with advancements in psychological practices and research to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and approaches.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the psychological field.
- Engage in community outreach programs as needed to promote mental health awareness and services offered by Riphah International University.
- Uphold the universitys values and mission while building trusting relationships with clients and maintaining a client-centered therapeutic approach.
