The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in finance and have at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare sector. Please note that this position does not involve managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze spending, and report variances to ensure the university meets its financial goals.
- Conduct financial forecasting to predict future revenues and expenses, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure that the university has adequate funds to meet its operational needs.
- Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations to uphold financial integrity.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing financial metrics and variance reports, and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for various initiatives and projects.
- Participate in annual audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Stay updated with the latest financial regulations and best practices to ensure the university remains in good standing.
