The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IT Governance or IT Compliance, and will manage a dedicated team of 5 professionals. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5 professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on IT governance and compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security policies and data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT governance processes across the organization, ensuring a unified approach.
• Oversee the implementation and management of risk management software and compliance management software to enhance governance capabilities.
• Design and deliver training programs for staff on IT governance principles, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
• Assess and review existing IT strategies and policies, recommending updates and improvements to meet evolving compliance and security trends.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide guidance on IT governance issues, ensuring all initiatives are in line with the universitys mission and objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure the universitys IT governance frameworks remain current and effective.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting compliance status, risk assessments, and governance activities.
