Deputy Manager Finance

  1. Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
  2. Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  3. Monthly preparation of financial reports & financial forecasts.
  4. Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
  5. Audits account to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
  6. Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  7. Ensures compliance with federal and provincial government requirements.
  8. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
  9. Preference will be given to expertise/skills in asset management.
