Riphah International University is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive with at least three years of experience to join its finance department. The Finance Executive plays a critical role in supporting the university's financial operations and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. This position does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. The Finance Executive will be responsible for monitoring financial transactions, verifying bank statements, and performing reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. The role demands a candidate who is meticulous, organized, and capable of delivering timely and accurate financial information. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and institutional policies.

  • Perform bank verifications and reconcile bank statements regularly to detect and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain a healthy cash flow and accurate ledger.
  • Prepare basic financial reports and management reports that provide insights into financial performance and budget status.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist in budgeting processes by compiling relevant financial data and monitoring expenditures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and address any discrepancies or queries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Utilize Excel to analyze data, generate financial statements, and produce reports effectively.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and safeguard sensitive data.
  • Stay updated on latest financial trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to the role.
