Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Speech Language Pathology, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices.
  • Guide and mentor students through their academic journey, providing necessary resources and support for their professional development.
  • Conduct and publish original research in the field of Speech Language Pathology, contributing to the body of knowledge and enhancing the reputation of the university.
  • Manage a team of 10 professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance departmental performance and achievement of goals.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods that align with accreditation standards.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and committees aimed at improving curriculum development, program evaluation, and departmental administration.
  • Engage with the broader academic and clinical community to promote the universitys programs and establish partnerships that benefit students.
  • Supervise clinical practice within student training programs, ensuring students gain practical experience and meet professional competencies.
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends and research in Speech Language Pathology, integrating this information into course content and teaching practices.
  • Assist in the departmental administration, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling, promoting effective operation and communication throughout the team.
