Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a university-wide research and innovation strategy aligned with national priorities.
Identify key research areas and facilitate internal and external research funding.
Strengthening academia-industry linkages and support research commercialization.
Manage intellectual property (IP), licensing and promote startup culture.
Organize research training and foster an innovative ecosystem (incubators, hubs).
Oversee monitoring, evaluation and reporting of research activities.
Job Requirements:
15 plus years’ experience in research, commercialization or academic leadership.
Proven leadership in research projects.
Strong links with academia, industry and government.
Successful entrepreneurial track record.
Job Skills:
Strategic thinking, excellent communication and team building skills.
Experience with IP management, grants and innovation programs.
Knowledge of HEC policies and national Research and Development landscape.
Job Education:
Ph.D./ M.Phil. in sciences (preferably Ph.D.) with High Impact Factor.
