Responsibilities
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Engineering with comprehensive lesson planning and use of modern educational technologies.
Prepare detailed course materials including course outlines, lesson plans, assessments, and project supervision guides.
Conduct lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials, and evaluate student performance using assignments, quizzes, examinations, and presentations.
Maintain accurate academic records and submit timely student grades adhering to university policies.
Conduct original and impactful research in Electrical Engineering, publish findings in HEC-recognized and impact-factor journals, and present at professional conferences and workshops.
Supervise undergraduate final-year projects and postgraduate research while encouraging innovation and industrial applications.
Apply for national and international research grants and promote patent development and industry-oriented research activities.
Engage actively in curriculum design, revision, and implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) standards consistent with Washington Accord requirements.
Participate on various departmental, faculty, and university committees, supporting accreditation processes including PEC compliance and documentation.
Assist with admissions processes, examinations, student advising, quality assurance, and departmental strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide academic mentoring and professional development guidance to students, promoting participation in technical competitions, exhibitions, and entrepreneurship.
Build and maintain strong collaborations with industry partners and professional organizations to facilitate internships, industrial visits, and joint research projects.
Organize workshops, seminars, and technical training sessions to foster ongoing professional development and community outreach.
Apply knowledge of PEC accreditation standards, HEC quality assurance requirements, and proficiency with engineering software such as MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD, PSpice, LabVIEW, and AutoCAD Electrical.
Incorporate AI-assisted educational and research tools to enhance teaching and research effectiveness.
