Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnoses across multiple medical specialties as per PM&DC guidelines.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans including treatment regimens, surgical interventions, and follow-up care.
  • Provide specialist consultations and support to less experienced medical staff within the institution.
  • Manage emergency cases in the Accident and Emergency department promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment approaches involving surgery, critical care, and medical therapy as required.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results accurately for informed clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation in compliance with institutional policies.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay updated on advancements in medical specialties.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical medical practice standards and patient confidentiality protocols.
  • Support clinical research activities and contribute to academic discussions within the healthcare department.
  • Liaise with external healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Identify and manage complex cases requiring referral or specialist intervention.
  • Promote a patient-centered approach ensuring compassionate care and effective communication with patients and families.
